Untapped Cities New York’s calling for Fall Interns!
Digital Editorial Intern
Responsibilities: You will be contributing to Untapped’s columns, many of which involve going on urban explorations of the city. You will be able to pitch ideas, cover stories, and edit pieces.
Skills: We are looking for a student studying journalism, creative writing, English, international relations, art history, urbanism, or a related field. Photography skills preferred.
Commitment: Min. 10 hours a week
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, but we can work with you to give you academic credit.

Social Media Intern
Responsibilities: You’ll be helping to handle all of Untapped’s social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest and Foursquare. You will get to build Untapped’s digital community and come up with creative ideas to engage our audience.
Skills: We are looking for a student studying journalism, communications, English, international relations, or a related field.

Advertising/Marketing Intern
Responsibilities: You will be reaching out to partners, sponsors and other corporate bodies to strengthen Untapped’s connections. You will be writing press releases, handling outreach efforts and planning events.
Skills: We are looking for a student studying journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
Commitment: Min. 10 hours a week
